Information we collect
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically processes technical information needed to deliver the website, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, the referring page and the date and time of the request. This information is held in server logs used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
If we enable privacy-friendly, cookieless visitor statistics (such as Vercel Web Analytics), we see only aggregated information, for example how many people viewed a page and which country they came from. It does not identify you individually and does not use cookies.
Information you give us
If you email us, including through the contact form, which only opens your own email app, we receive your email address, name if you give it, and the content of your message.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect payment details, government identifiers, precise location, or special categories of personal data. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use information

How long we keep information
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period, typically not longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate abuse. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your query and for up to two years afterwards as a record of corrections, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you may ask us to give you a summary of personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, erase it, or withdraw consent where we rely on consent. You may also nominate another person to exercise your rights. Write to contact@bankebiharitemple.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, with security headers that reduce the risk of common attacks. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
