Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and to follow the spirit of the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites where they apply to a private website.
What we have done
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the start of every page.
- Text and background colours chosen for strong contrast.
- Visible focus outlines for keyboard users, and a navigation menu that works fully by keyboard.
- Layouts that adapt to small screens and to text zoomed up to 200%.
- Animation that is switched off when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Tables with proper headers for timings.
Known limitations
The live "open now" status relies on JavaScript. When JavaScript is unavailable, the full schedule is still shown as text. Some older articles may have images without detailed descriptions; we are reviewing them.
Accessibility at the temple itself
For information on physical access at the temple, see our facilities guide.
