Not the official temple website
Banke Bihari Temple Guide is an independent, informational website. It is not owned, operated, endorsed or authorised by Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple, its sevayat Goswami families, any court-appointed committee, any trust, or any government department. Use of the temple's name on this website is purely descriptive.
The official temple website is bihariji.org (opens in a new tab). For official announcements, timings and administrative information, rely on it rather than on this guide.
No donations, bookings or sales
We do not accept donations, offerings or payments of any kind on behalf of the temple. We do not sell or arrange darshan passes, VIP entry, pooja, seva, prasad, accommodation or travel. Anyone asking for money in our name is not acting for us. Report such attempts to contact@bankebiharitemple.com and to the police.
Information only
Timings, rules, festival dates and arrangements described on this website are based on our research of the sources cited on each page and are provided for general guidance. Each time-sensitive fact shows when we last checked it. They can be changed at any time by the temple administration or the authorities. Always confirm with official notices before travelling. We are not responsible for any loss arising from reliance on this information.
Religious and historical content
Our pages describe devotional traditions and legends as they are held by devotees, and distinguish them from historical records wherever we can. They are written with respect and are not intended to offend any belief or community. Where historical sources disagree, we note the disagreement.
